After five years of world-renowned presenters, memorable performances in the heart of New York City, and an alumni network of over 250 that spreads across the US, the Artist as Citizen Conference is taking a year to gather its constituents together to celebrate, reassess, and renew its commitment to strengthening the impact of the arts in our society.

In 2019, we’re hosting a Convening at Juilliard for conference leadership, past and future supporters, and alumni to reckon with how much we’ve accomplished, how much work is still left to do, and all that has changed around us since we set off on this course in 2014. We intend to emerge from the 2019 Convening with a more precise, more sustainable, more strategic vision that incorporates a multiplicity of perspectives, and that sets the stage for the best Artist as Citizen Conference yet in 2020!

Therefore, we are not accepting new applications at the moment.

Dates for our next conference will be available Fall 2019.
